Really Alive!

If you life could be described in just two words, who wouldn’t want it to be described as “really alive?” In other words, every part of your life being genuinely, authentically, truly, absolutely awakened at all times to what God is doing in and through and for you. That’s not a full description by any means…but it’s an early morning “Renee Burt” paraphrase! That’s the kind of life I want – really alive, fully alive – without the touch of death in any area of it. So what does it take for that to occur? Today’s verse says it’s simply through loyal and steady believing…in His abililty, willingness, faithfulness and promises that NEVER fail.

Habakkuk 2:4 MSG ~ Look at that man, bloated by self-importance—full of himself but soul-empty. But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive.
