Fresh Manna

I was sitting reading my Bible this morning when the Lord moved on me to intercede and pray for your financial increase and supernatural provision. There are so many stories of supernatural provision in the Bible where provision manifested because people heard and obeyed direction from God. And so, I prayed and continue to pray that you will know that God is your provider and that you will have sincere faith in the fact that He wants to help you as you learn to lean upon Him. I pray most of all that your soul prospers!
In 3 John 1:2 we read, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” In this verse, the word “prosper” means: “to succeed in the business of what you put your hand to.” The Holy Spirit inspired this verse, which means its God’s will that you prosper at what you put your hand to. There are many things that contribute to prospering according to the word of God such as planning, preparation, diligence, faithfulness, integrity, character, and so on. Many Bible verses speak to this, so as we conduct our daily lives and business we should mature in these godly character traits. God wants you to do this because He wants you to prosper.
In Genesis 39:3 concerning Joseph it says, “And his master Potiphar saw that the Lord was with Joseph and that the Lord gave him success and made all he did to prosper in his hand.” Joseph walked in those godly attributes and God prospered him.
Deut. 29:9 (NLT) says, “Therefore, obey the terms of this covenant so that you will prosper in everything you do.” God wants us to prosper in whatever we do so that we may glorify Him and be equipped to help accomplished His will in the earth.
3 John 1:2 continues, “…I pray that you may prosper in all things AND BE IN HEALTH…” The Greek word for health means: “to be in sound and uncorrupted physical health as well as be protected from things that would attack your health.” If you simply read through the gospels, you will see God’s will concerning your health. God’s will is made clear through Jesus’ actions. Jesus said, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father…” (John 14:9 NKJV) Remember that Jesus said these words concerning knowing and understanding God’s will.
We all know the world is full of sickness. It’s the consequence of sin in the earth. That is not to say that if you were sick, it’s because you sinned. I am saying that sin has led to sickness and disease permeating the fabric of every living thing like an air-borne virus. Satan’s touch upon this earth is sin, sickness, and destruction. But, when people see sickness and disease, some ignorantly think, “Is this God’s will?” “Is God doing this to me?” The answer is no. How do I know? Just look to Jesus. His will was to heal. Jesus said, ‘When you pray, pray that my will be done here in earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” There will be no sickness in Heaven. Revelation 21:4 says there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain. So when you pray, know that good health is God’s will. It’s up to you to cooperate with the things that promote good health and then lean on God’s grace through faith and pray for His touch upon your life. Never give up, get weary, or cave in to what you know is not God’s will. Stand against it and pray for God’s will.
Finally, 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, JUST AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS.”
What is your soul prospering? Your soul is made up of your mind and emotions. Your mind and emotions are trained one of two ways: The first way is haphazardly. You mind and emotions think on and believe and react to the ever-changing circumstances and sources of information, evil reports, and negative information that bombard your life each day. The second way they are trained is by you learning and believing God’s word, His promises, and His will for your life regardless of present circumstance. Meditating on these things keeps you rooted and stable and strengthen your faith. The result: “…prospering in all things and being in health, just as your soul prospers.”
This is what I am interceding for you right now!
Joshua 1:8 (NIV) “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
In His Love,
