The Power of Words

God’s word has so much to say about the power of words and the words we speak. In forgetting this, we often become careless with them. They can tear down or build up. They can transform a moment. They can transform an entire life. I’ve posted this before but felt impressed to repost this again this weekend! I pray that it moves your heart!

Psalms 19:14 NKJV “Let the WORDS OF MY MOUTH, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer”

There is a powerful message on the power of words in this very short video!

If your tongue has power, you have power. You can frame your world with acceptable words that please God and create life and blessing for others, or you can spill words that bring hurt. God’s will is always to bring life!

Proverbs 18:20-21 NIV “From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled; and with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
