My Gift Named Addie

Something that I’ve struggled with almost all my life is my confidence! Because I’m super extroverted I can put on a pretty good mask—but inside I am wanting to hide. God gave me an amazing gift. He knew exactly what I needed in my life. A clear sign that I don’t need to listen to the lies anymore! This gift is my sweet little girl Addie, miss Attitude!

She is such a strong and courageous young girl. She’s so confident and sure of herself. She will take down all the lies of the enemy! I’m telling you…

The other day at the park, a young boy was bullying my Addie and two of her sweet friends. Addie stood her ground. She told me that she asked the boy if he was a Christian—because she is a Christian and never uses that sort of language, and that she treats others the way she would want to be treated, and that we should love our neighbors… She then told him that God is always watching and that he should get to the store and buy himself the Holy Bible and get Jesus in his heart. Then she said Ask your mom to take you to church! My dad is a Pastor so we go to Substance church you should get yourself there…. and on and on she went. Then she found herself the biggest boy in the park and asked him to be their body guard! 😂 I’m dead serious! This kid was in 5th grade and like three times the other boy’s size! I was dying!! 😂
Side note… I will be working with my girl on how to properly witness 🤣 but I love her attitude! It’s sort of a love hate 🙃
