Fresh Mannaby Pastor Tim BurtOnce upon a time, in the bustling household of David, a superhero dad on a mission to conquer the laundry pile, there lived a sidekick named Liam, the eight-year-old wonder. On this particular day, David and Liam set out to fold the clean clothes and save the day in domestic duties. As they embarked on their heroic quest, David, the wise mentor, grabbed a handful of hangers to complete the mission successfully. But alas, an unforeseen challenge arose as they neared victory – the need for one more hanger.“Ah, Liam,” said David, his cape billowing in the laundry-scented breeze, “we require an extra hanger from your sister's forbidden closet.”

Eager to prove his superhero abilities, Liam dashed into his sister’s domain. However, the hanger, perched just out of his reach, eluded his grasp. Liam found himself at a height disadvantage with no chairs or gadgets in sight.Frustrated, Liam returned to his dad, his sidekick spirit dampened. Sensing a superhero lesson in the making, David seized the opportunity. “Liam,” he said, “recall our morning scripture – nothing is impossible with God.”“But Dad,” Liam sighed, “I’m too short to reach it.”Ever the wise sage, David responded, “If God makes the impossible possible, perhaps the secret is asking for help.”With a twinkle in his eye, David continued, “Just like Moses asked Aaron for help when facing Pharaoh and Peter reluctantly needed Jesus’ help to catch a boat full of fish, sometimes we need to seek help to make the impossible possible.”Absorbing the superhero wisdom, Liam realized that asking for help wasn’t a sign of weakness but a superpower. “So, Dad,” he inquired, “you mean I should have asked you for help?”“Well, always start with God, but then know that God uses people as part of His plan—so yes, ask me!” David exclaimed. “I’m here to be your superhero dad and guide, and just like God uses others to help us, I’m ready to assist you with anything. Learning to ask for help is a crucial skill and superpower– it’s like activating our superhero team to tackle life’s challenges. And can I tell you a secret? Most people never acquire this superpower even though God wants them to!"And so, in the laundry room turned superhero training ground, Liam discovered the power of seeking help from God and the superhero figures in his life. The laundry basket may have been conquered, but the real victory lay in the lesson learned – that together, with a bit of help, even the tallest hanger could be within reach. And so, the dynamic duo of David and Liam continued their superhero adventures, ready to face any laundry challenge that dared to unfold. In His love,Pastor Tim BurtIf today's Fresh Manna was a blessing to you, please hit the "LIKE" button below!
