Do You Know Your Benefits?

This past year we were presented with a new health care plan at work. I went home and studied all the benefits, so we’d be sure to know what was available to us through the plan. Everyone else I talked to had done the same thing. It made good sense to do that. But how much better sense does is make to spend MORE time, and GREATER attention to knowing all of our “benefits” listed in our Bible? It’s the greatest heath care plan (for our spirit, soul, and body) available…and there’s no monthly fee, co-pays or deductibles. It’s a 100% plan that covers everything in life…if you know your benefits! That’s what it says in:

Psalm 103:1-5 NIV ~ Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
