Fresh Manna

We live in the world of Internet and GPS directions. This has been a great benefit to me personally. I use them all the time and they are a blessing because I hate not knowing where I am going or how to get there. The Internet and GPS can’t help us when we struggle with “I don’t know what to do” or, “I don’t know what the Lord wants me to do?” The Internet can’t answer those questions but, we you rejoice in the fact that God has answers to these questions and He’ll share them with you.
God has a divine plan and answers fore everyone who sincerely seeks Him for answers to the questions they struggle with. Acts 17:26-27 says, “From one man God made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek Him and reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.”
Did you get that? God is saying He knows everything that lies ahead and that we should seek Him though He is not far from us! God is not playing games with you or me. He desires greatly to reveal Himself to us.
Psa 103:7 gives insight to God’s ways of speaking to us. It says, “He made known His ways to Moses, His exploits, His miracles and His deeds known to the people of Israel.” God makes His ways known. He doesn’t hide them. What God made known to Moses, Moses in turn revealed to all God’s people. Likewise, He wants us to know them!
He also makes His deeds, His mighty exploits and miracles known so that we can see His heart of love and mercy. His miracles are an act and demonstration of His continuous love still touching lives today. They build and encourage our faith. We serve a mighty and miraculous God that you can come to know intimately and whom will lead you in your destiny one day at a time.
Whenever we come to a place in life where it feels like we’ve hit a wall and are asking the question, “What should I do?” We should know there is an answer and those answers come through seeking Him. He knows how to speak to your heart and lead you. He, through His Holy Spirit living in you, will teach you to follow Him so that you can sense and experience His presence and direction in your life – continuously! Jeremiah 29:13-14 says, “If you look for Me in earnest, you will find Me when you seek Me. I will be found by you, says the Lord…” John 16:13 says, “But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth… and He will share with you what is yet to come.” In John 14:17, Jesus said, “… the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you do, because He lives with you now and later will be in you.”
Why does He make us seek Him? It’s in seeking Him that we develop within our heart, a right and reverential attitude toward Him. Learning of Him creates a respect for His omnipotence and yet we also experience the intimacy of a loving Heavenly Father that cares about every detail of our life. Does it get any better than this? You’ll find out that it doesn’t!
Do you sincerely spend time seeking Him? If you just measure the time you spend with the Lord in His Word and prayer against the other activities of your free time, you might find a huge discrepancy. We seek God in many ways that all contribute to our learning of and experiencing Him. When we go to church and hear the Bible preached, when we read His Word, when we pray, when we attend a Bible study, etc., these all help us seek and hear from God and experience His loving touch. A religious life without letting His Word become alive to you will leave you feeling dried up spiritually and facing the loneliness of resolving your own questions and choices.
Answers to tough questions about life and direction begin with knowing that God desires to answer you and lead you. You have to know that not only is He NOT keeping your answers hidden, but He desires to reveal them to you as you seek Him. So, get by yourself. Pray and let the Lord know you desire to know Him more. Ask Him to speak to you through His Word (the Bible,) and then read. As you seek Him you will find Him! You will see that He does answer your questions over time.
Psalm 119:2 “Blessed and happy are those who walk in God’s ways and who seek Him with all their heart.”
In His Love,
